About
The Tribe
Our amazing group of elite youth talent is originated from a vision-driven organization that had it’s official debut in 2015. The mission of the South DeKalb Tribe is to foster exemplary character and create future productive citizens through sports using a unique approach designed to make a positive impact in our community.
Tribe Athletes
Our tribe is composed of highly skilled players from multiple counties surrounding the metro Atlanta area; counties include: DeKalb, Cobb, Clayton, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Spalding. Our academic athletes are focused on excellence on the field, in the classroom, and in our communities. We have nationally ranked players, but are individually focused on each skill set of every player with our organization.
Tribe Experience
During the Tribe's HBCU college tour in June 2021, the players got a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders on Jackson State University's campus! The team was able to sit down and have an impactful Q&A session with Sanders, where he shared personal experiences and words of encouragement.
