Founded in 2015, the South DeKalb Tribe was born from a bold vision: to create opportunities for elite youth athletes while shaping the next generation of leaders in our community. What began as an idea has grown into a powerful movement built on discipline, character, and opportunity.

OUR ATHLETES

Our tribe is composed of highly skilled players from multiple counties surrounding the metro Atlanta area; counties include: DeKalb, Cobb, Clayton, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Spalding. Our academic athletes are focused on excellence on the field, in the classroom, and in our communities. We have nationally ranked players, but are individually focused on each skill set of every player with our organization.

South DeKalb Tribe’s 12U and 14U hit the road to Chi-Town for the HBCU Baseball Classic 💪🏾 Thank you to @blackbaseballmedia for hosting us!

14U Tribe handled business, going a perfect 4-0 and bringing home the HBCU Baseball Classic Youth Tournament Championship 🏆⚾️

12U Tribe Gold showed up strong as well, finishing 2-1 on the weekend and competing every game.

Cold weather didn’t slow us down—players locked in, coaches stayed ready, and the families brought the energy all weekend. That’s what Tribe is all about. God Bless the Tribe

Day 1 in Chicago

The South DeKalb Tribe has officially touched down in the Windy City for the HBCU Classic powered by @blackbaseballmedia and the Chicago @cubscharities

From travel day to the welcome mixer at the host hotel, where both teams connected with local vendors, HBCU alumni and supporters, to an incredible college showcase giving our high school athletes the chance to perform in front of coaches from Alabama A&M and Prairie View A&M, today was all about opportunity and exposure.
